Trip to Utrecht!

This weekend I went on a work trip to Utrecht to judge the Yugioh Championship Series for 3 days. The trip was primarily a work trip, so I didn't get to see much of the city, but one thing I noticed about the Netherlands is the country's flood management solutions. When we were on the plane above Amsterdam, you could see the water strips seamlessly integrated within the fields.

As you can see, the water lines are splitting off each area; I also saw sheep and cattle being "penned" in by the water rather than by fences.

This is something that I think the UK could use to help with flood management, which is living with water rather than living fighting water.
