Design diary

Here is another pencil sketch I did of some jellyfish.  

Here's a small pencil sketch I did of an octopus, I really like doing these much smaller sketches as there's no pressure for them to be perfect. It's also a great way for me to start being creative for the day!  

  This is a small pencil drawing I did of a jellyfish, I then used Sharpies to make certain areas slightly darker. I really like the effect of the pencils in person but when you take a photo of it the colours seem a lot more dull.

  This is part of Highline Park in New York, I like how this site gives the opposite feel to the rest of new york. The range of plants makes the site seem really informal and gives the site a really nice feel. This site seems really user-friendly as the walkway is wide and there appear to be a lot of areas for people to sit in, which makes the area a lot more accessible for older users and people who are unable to walk for large periods of time. I think that having a large amount of planting within an urban environment is something that I really value within an urban area and will be something I use as inspiration in the future.
