Piazza Della Repubblica

When walking around Milan I walked through the Piazza Della Repubblica. This was a park area which was cut through by a main road. Although this is a really busy area of Milan it was a really gorgeous small park area which provided a break from the huge building that surround it. Due to the amount of tall vegetation and sculptures, it shields a lot of the viewpoints of the tall buildings. This causes the area to feel secluded and not part of the urban environment.
Urban park areas like this are really something I feel is missing in the cityscape within the UK as usually, you will have to leave the city to be able to see this much vegetation.
